I’m New

We are Glad That you connected with us at FBC maxville.

Directions - We are located at 8635 Maxville Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32234. Link to Google Maps for Directions

Service Times - Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. Sunday School Groups are at 9:30 a.m. Come early and grab free coffee and donuts (we have other great items!) in our connection cafe. You’ll also get to connect with others. The cafe is easily found as you enter our main entrance lobby…just go down the first hall to the right. We have a Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7 p.m. and activities and classes for all ages.

What about kids? - We have ministries for the smallest babies right on up to teens on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays. All of our children’s areas are safe and secure. Parents will check in their children at the kid’s check-in desk. Parents will be given a “card” that will alert them if they are needed.

Where Can I Park? Plenty of parking is available on the campus of FBC Maxville. There are two entrances available to park in. We have handicapped parking close to the double doors and a covered pavilion to drop off guests as needed.

What Should I Expect? You’ll be warmly greeted as you enter the doors of the lobby and you’ll be handed a bulletin with announcements for events and information on the service. You’ll find that we sing together the great hymns of the church, gospel favorites, and today’s worship songs. We have a choir that helps lead us in worship. Our pastor preaches Biblically-based sermons usually through books of the Bible or “text-driven” series. In each service, there is a time to worship through giving for those who call FBC Maxville home. If you are visiting, please do not feel pressure to give. Our services also include a short time of fellowship and an invitation for those who are led to respond to the message.

What do you believe? Our church is based upon the word of God, Jesus Christ, and is a Baptist church by denomination. We are a cooperating church with the Southern Baptist Convention, The Florida Baptist Convention, and the Black Creek Baptist Association. While we are in alignment with the SBC, we are still an independent church. This means that no organization, association, or “leader” directs the ministry, teaching, and preaching of FBC Maxville. Anything Else? - We exist to bring all generations to Christ. Our goal is to be able to minister to your entire family. None of us are perfect but we desire to point each other to the perfect one, Jesus Christ. He is the reason we exist.
